The Houston Astros updated Team Outlook after hiring Atlanta Braves scouting executive Dana Brown as their new General Manager. For the past four seasons, Brown has served as the Braves’ VP of scouting, managing drafts that brought in talent such as C Shea Langeliers, SS Vaughn Grissom, and CF Michael Harris II. With this hiring, Brown is the only Black General Manager in baseball. Houston had parted ways with ex-GM James Click following their World Series victory last fall after failing to agree on terms for a new deal.
