It looks like Andrew “Drew” Taggart won’t forget the first time he met T.I. because it resulted in a punch to the face! Drew, who is one of two members of The Chainsmokers, told the story via Tik Tok. The one-minute clip shows Drew and his other half Alexander Pall in a club near celebrities like T.I. and Big Sean. After a few seconds, the video shows Drew and Alex telling the punch story while inside a moving car.

“T.I. just literally punched me in the face,” Drew said. “We’re in a vibe and I was like, I gave him a kiss on the cheek, but it was totally my fault.”

Both Drew and Alex laughed at this part of the story. Then, Drew continued explaining what happened, including T.I.’s reaction.

“He was like don’t do that and I was like okay. He pushed me off and I was like alright my bad,” Andrew shared.

At this point, Alex interrupted and said, “then his friend goes, you need to get your boy.”  Alex said it was a “what the f**k” moment for him because he had no context about the situation.

Drew Says T.I. Accepted His Apology 

Drew explained that T.I. punched him in the face and he reacted by saying sorry. T.I. then seemed to accept the apology as he allegedly responded, “alright cool, we’re good” to Drew.

Andrew added that it was “the weirdest interaction ever.” Meanwhile, Alex added to the story by saying, “I did the coolest thing ever and then you kissed T.I.,” drawing more laughter from the car audience, including Drew.

“First of all, T.I. is fully in the right here. I was like feeling the vibes way too hard and I kissed T.I. on the cheek and he punched me in the face for it,” Drew said. “It’s fully fine.”
