For Aisha donates baby food to 166 organisations with In Kind Direct – Retail News – A1 Retail Magazine
For Aisha, the pioneers of Halal baby food, has recently provided donations to 166 organisations in the UK including community projects, youth care, family welfare, housing and homeless support organisations.
The donations have been managed via For Aisha’s ongoing charitable partnership with In Kind Direct, a UK charity distributing consumer products, donated by companies, to over 4,500 charitable organisations to ensure that everyone has access to the products they need to keep clean, safe and well. The charity’s mission is to ensure everyone has access to life’s essentials and that no usable product should go to waste.
St Peter’s Preschool, who received donations from For Aisha, said: “We run a free Parent and Toddler group in the community, the group is open to all that reside in the area whilst making sure that we reach out to those families who are disadvantaged. The products we received help to support families who are finding it difficult to manage their budget in times of crisis. The children are all under three and we have a lot of parents with babies. We try to reach out to the community and offer support where we can and products such as For Aisha help us achieve our goal.”
In Kind Direct supports 275,000 people each week and it’s thanks to donations, such as For Aisha’s, that help to power the charity’s brilliant initiatives, supporting families who are struggling across the country. For Aisha has provided baby food pouches and trays, suitable for seven months all the way up to three years old, in a variety of exotic recipes.
Rosanne Gray, CEO of IN KIND DIRECT said: “Now, more than ever, charitable organisations across the country are being relied upon for further support, as more and more people are struggling as the cost-of-living crisis continues. That’s why For Aisha’s continued support with product donations of baby food and essentials is crucial for us to help more families struggling across the UK. We look forward to continuing this partnership into the future so we can support even more people together.”
Emily Salter, Marketing Manager at For Aisha, said: “Everyone at For Aisha is so proud to support this brilliant charity and seeing the impact we have made has been truly heart-warming. As a business, it’s incredibly important that we are able to support people around the UK, especially during the difficult financial times that so many are currently experiencing”
