Here’s The Real Reason Ivana Trump ‘Left Donald Trump’s Presidential Inauguration’

It’s been one month since Ivana Trump, the ex-wife of the former President Donald Trump, died suddenly at the age of 73 after falling down the stairs of her townhouse in Manhattan. Now, the real reason she “left” her ex-husband’s 2016 inauguration before it ended has been revealed.

Ivana’s friend Massimo Gargia, who introduced her to her fourth husband, Rossano Rubicondi, is claiming that she left the inauguration because she was furious over the seating arrangements. This contradicts rumors that she left because she did not want to see Marla Maples, who Donald left her for.

“In Washington for the inauguration, she had a very bad seat. So she left,” Gargia told New York Magazine’s Intelligencer. “She was in shock to see where they put her. It was a little exclusion.”

At the time of the inauguration, Page Six reported that Ivana and her mother were moved to seats on the edge of the front row of the inauguration to accommodate Barbi, who was using a wheelchair.

“They had seats in the middle of the front row, but couldn’t use them,” said an unnamed source told the outlet. “They were shifted off to the side.”

Ivana left Washington D.C. that night on a 9pm flight back to New York City. She was reportedly shocked by the way she felt that she was treated at the inauguration, particularly after she stood by Donald during his campaign. She specifically refuted claims that she has accused Donald of rape during their divorce, saying that her allegations at the time were not of a “literal of criminal sense.”

“I have recently read some comments attributed to me from nearly 30 years ago at a time of very high tension during my divorce from Donald. The story is totally without merit,” Ivana told CNN in 2015.

“Donald and I are the best of friends, and together have raised three children that we love and are very proud of,” she continued. “I have nothing but fondness for Donald, and wish him the best of luck on his campaign. Incidentally, I think he would make an incredible president.”

Ivana and Donald were married from 1977 until they divorced in 1992, and they had three children together during that time. After Ivana’s death on July 14, Donald spoke out to pay tribute to her.

“I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City,” he said. “She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest in Peace, Ivana.”

Ivana’s daughter Ivanka also spoke out to pay tribute to her, saying, “Growing up, my mother didn’t tell me a woman could do anything she wanted to — she showed me.”

“She was a trailblazer by men and women alike. My mother once told me there was nothing she couldn’t do in heels,” she continued. “She taught us how to spear fish and then cook what we caught. My mom expanded our minds.”

Ivana Trump truly was one of a kind. May she rest in peace.
