On this week’s episode of “How Was that Not a Hit?” – we take a trip to the Jersey Shore and a tiny house in Long Branch where Bruce Springsteen created some of his earliest albums. “My Father’s House” by Bruce Springsteen was one of the strongest tracks off the Nebraska album but it never caught on with the audience. Springsteen went back to this topic on the underrated The Ghost of Tom Joad and the stripped down song remains one of his best pieces of songwriting.
