Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty keep a relatively low profile when it comes to their relationship, but they gave fans a recent sneak peek courtesy of Kenneth’s generosity. To celebrate the success of her latest single, ‘Super Freaky Girl,’ Kenneth Petty showered Nicki Minaj with a collection of gifts.
While her fiercely devoted Barbz lit social media up with congratulations for her recent Billboard debut, what meant the most to Nicki Minaj was the love (and gifts) she received from her husband Kenneth Petty.
Taking to Instagram, Nicki shared via video how Kenneth went all out to celebrate her. She captioned the video, writing “Zoo was trying to surprise me with this for hours, but I kept on having to do just one last thing b4 leaving out. By the time I came out it was dark outside.”
Nicki continued, adding “But it actually looked so beautiful in the dark Gangst, B’z, Skarr thx for helping him. The [red roses] were perfection too. My Republic family with these gorgeous flowers. Thank you. And then there’s the star of the show,” she said referencing her son. “Mama loves you papa bear. You make every single moment worth it.”
As we previously reported, Nicki Minaj is pulling double-duty at this year’s MTV VMAs, where she will be the recipient of the 2022 Video Vanguard Award and host the show alongside the legendary LL Cool J and Jack Harlow.
