Klarna and H&M partner for smoother shopping online in Ireland – Retail News – A1 Retail Magazine
H&M Members in Ireland will now be able to take advantage of Klarna’s Pay in 3 online
Klarna, a global retail bank, payments, and shopping service, has expanded its partnership with global fashion retailer H&M, to bring its ‘Pay in 3’ option to Ireland. H&M Members, the retailer’s free membership scheme, will now have access to a simpler and smoother shopping experience online, with greater flexibility and control over how they pay.
The partnership will give H&M Members the choice to use Klarna’s ‘Pay in 3’ option online, letting them split any purchase into three instalments without any interest or fees. Ireland is the latest country Klarna and H&M’s partnership has expanded to.
H&M shoppers worldwide including in the UK, U.S., Germany, Poland and Sweden, can all use Klarna’s services both online and in-store, with more markets planned to go live by the end of the year.
The partnership comes as Klarna marked its 17th year in operation by reaching over 150 million consumers and partnering with 400,000 merchants worldwide. Klarna launched its services in Ireland in November 2021 and has now reached 500,000 Irish consumers and partnered with 800 merchants, enabling them to adapt to a changing retail landscape and improve their customer experience.
On the partnership, Colin Creagh, Head of Klarna Ireland said, “H&M is a high street staple and we’re excited to bring our partnership to Ireland, so that Irish consumers can have greater choice and control over how they pay. H&M’s commitment to great customer service and providing unbeatable options for their shoppers is the perfect fit for Klarna.”
Toni Galli, H&M UK & IE Country Manager: “At H&M, we are committed to making the shopping experience the best it can be for our customers. Online shoppers want flexibility and Klarna offers them exactly that. We’re excited to give our members in Ireland the flexibility Klarna provides.”
