The Baltimore Orioles updated Team Outlook after acquiring SP Cole Irvin in a trade with the Oakland Athletics. The Orioles will also receive minor-league RHP Kyle Virbitsky, while the A’s get infield prospect SS Darell Hernaiz. Irvin, who turns 29 next week, is coming off a season where he served as Oakland’s best pitcher and isn’t eligible for arbitration until 2024. This past year Irvin posted a 3.98 ERA along with 128 strikeouts in 181 innings pitched.
