The Boston Red Sox updated Team Outlook after acquiring SS Adalberto Mondesi from the Kansas City Royals in exchange for RP Josh Taylor. Although Mondesi has all the tools to reach stardom, injuries have plagued him his whole career, limiting him to 358 games over seven seasons. Mondesi’s addition will provide much-needed middle infield help, as the Sox lost superstar SS Xander Bogaerts in free agency. Boston has also designated RP Matt Barnes for assignment.
