The Houston Texans updated Team Outlook after HC Lovie Smith was fired, becoming the team’s second straight one-and-done head coach. The 2005 Coach of the Year was let go hours after Houston finished their 3-13-1 season. Smith joined the Texans in 2021 as the DC/associate HC and was promoted a year later after the firing of ex-HC Dan Culley. The organization holds the No. 2 pick in the upcoming NFL draft.
