Authorities found Teddy Ray’s body floating in a swimming pool over the weekend, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Dept. stated on Monday.

A maintenance man found the 32-year-old in the pool located at a private residence in Rancho, Mirage, California–about two hours East of Los Angeles.

“No foul play was found,” the sheriff also stated. But the cause and manner of death are currently under investigation.

Teddy’s passing comes two weeks after his 32nd birthday.

Teddy was primarily known for his comedy, including his appearances on Russell Simmons’ All Def Digital platform. He is also known for his cast member days on MTV’s Wild ‘N Out and podcast with Lewis Ray called The Cali Kickback. As the news of his death spread, fans began sharing some of their favorite moments from the comedian, including his viral “double-cheeked up” video.

At the time of his passing, Wild N’ Out posted:

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Teddy Ray who always kept our audiences smiling with his quick wit and creativity. Our hearts are with his family, friends, and fans during this difficult time.

Roomies, keep his family in your prayers.
