2005: San Diego Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson broke the NFL record for the most consecutive GP (13) with a RUSH TD during a 2-TD performance vs. Denver. Tomlinson would extend the record to 18 straight games that still stands today and tied the NFL record for consecutive GP (18) with any kind of TD 

1996: Boston Red Sox SP Roger Clemens tied his own MLB record by striking out 20 batters in a 4-0 victory over the Tigers. Kerry Wood, Randy Johnson, and Max Scherzer have also reached 20 Ks in 1 game, but Clemens is the only player to do so multiple times in their career
